Environmental Policy
Data Integrity recognizes environmental protection as one of our guiding principles and a key component of sound business performance. We are committed to providing a quality service in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimizes our impact on the environment.
We operate in compliance with relevant federal, provincial, and municipal environmental legislation, and we strive to use environmental best practices in all we do.
Data Integrity is committed to protecting our natural environment and resources in any place we conduct business. Implementation of this policy is a primary management objective and acting in accordance with this policy is the responsibility of every employee.

Policy Statement
We encourage all employees to evaluate the use of supplies and energy before consuming to ensure minimal
waste. The following is a list of best-practice solutions.
Paper
- Minimize the use of paper in the office by storing documents electronically.
- Use double sided printing to save paper.
- Always proof-read and preview.
- Re-using Scrap Paper.
- Communicate via Email, Instant Messaging, or Video conferencing.
- Reduce packaging by re-using existing materials.
- Seek to buy recycled paper products.
- Always Recycle.
Energy & Water
- Turn off lights when not in use.
- Unplug idle electronics.
- Use natural light whenever possible.
- Ensure any leaky faucets are repaired in a timely fashion.
- Use energy efficient appliances and light bulbs.
- Print only when necessary.
- Use hibernation features on laptops and computers.
Office supplies
- Evaluate if the need can be met in another way.
- We will evaluate the environmental impact of any new products we intend to purchase.
- Consciously compare products to ensure the longest life cycle to reduce waste.
- We will reuse and recycle everything we are able to.
- Be selective in our choice of products, process and services to ensure that our supply chain reflects our commitment to sustainability.
Transportation
- Reduce the need to travel, restricting to necessity trips only.
- Minimize impact of transportation: employee commuting, travelling for meetings and conferences.
- Make additional efforts to accommodate the needs of those using public transport or bicycles.
Maintenance & Cleaning
- Seek environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.
- Materials used in office refurbishment will be as environmentally friendly as possible.
- Use only licensed and appropriate organizations to dispose of waste.
Educate

We ensure our employees receive necessary and required training regarding relevant environmental matters
and activities. We promote a high level of awareness and a culture of inclusion for proposing, setting and
achieving our environmental and sustainability goals, objectives and targets.
Practices & Measures
- Involve our staff in the implementation of this policy, for greater commitment and improved performance.
- Educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work annually at a
minimum. - Use local labor and materials where available to reduce CO2 and help the community.
- Post a copy of this policy in central areas within the organization for easy reference and awareness.
- Communicate our environmental commitment to clients, customers and the public and encourage them
to support it.
